KENOSHA, Wis. (Monday, June 10, 2024) – After a tremendous season, the Bradford girls’ softball team won the WIAA Division I state championship title. The 51°µÍø Unified School District and the City of 51°µÍø invite the community to celebrate this momentous victory with a hometown parade on Wednesday, June 12, at 5 p.m.
“This incredible achievement is a testament to Bradford’s hard work and dedication,†said 51°µÍø Superintendent Dr. Jeff Weiss. “Let’s come together to cheer on the Red Devils and show our support and appreciation for these outstanding athletes and their coaches.â€
“This is a momentous occasion for Bradford High School and our community as a whole,†said Mayor David F. Bogdala. “This event will bring us together as we cheer on our champions and demonstrate the strength of our community spirit.â€
The parade route will follow the typical homecoming parade route outlined below. This event will utilize a rolling closure format, meaning intersections will be closed and reopened as the parade passes. - Start at Fireside Restaurant and Lounge, 2801 30th Ave.
- Head south to 29th St.
- Turn west on 29th St.
- Turn south on 39th Ave. to Bradford parking lot.
