Annual Free & Reduced Meal Application

Beginning in the 2026-27 school year, 51°µÍø will transition from a districtwide Community Eligibility Program (CEP) back to a partial CEP. As a reminder, the CEP allows eligible schools to serve healthy breakfast and lunch meals to students at no charge each day. During the 2022-23 school year, 51°µÍø expanded CEP districtwide. Due to current financial strains on Fund 50, 51°µÍø will return to a partial CEP beginning in 2026-27. Mahone is returning to a traditional model of Free/Reduced/Paid, and families need to complete an application to qualify.
The is now live! Families are encouraged to apply to potentially receive meals at the free/reduced rate. In addition, completing the form helps families and schools qualify for additional benefits, including:
  • Title I funding support, which helps schools provide additional academic services, instructional support, and resources for students
  • Athletics fee waivers
  •  Fine arts fee waivers
  •  Advanced Placement (AP) testing fee waivers
